Języki Eberronu
Hej!

Eksploracja i zasady podróżowania
Cześć!
Umieszczam tu zasady dla wygody:
Forced March: In a day of normal walking, a character walks for 8 hours. The rest of the daylight time is spent making and breaking camp, resting, and eating.
A character can walk for more than 8 hours in a day by making a forced march. For each hour of marching beyond 8 hours, a Constitution check (DC 10, +2 per extra hour) is required. If the check fails, the character takes 1d6 points of nonlethal damage. A character who takes any nonlethal damage from a forced march becomes fatigued. Eliminating the nonlethal damage also eliminates the fatigue. It's possible for a character to march into unconsciousness by pushing himself too hard.
Mounted Movement: A mount bearing a rider can move at a hustle. The damage it takes when doing so, however, is lethal damage, not nonlethal damage. The creature can also be ridden in a forced march, but its Constitution checks automatically fail, and the damage it takes is lethal damage. Mounts also become fatigued when they take any damage from hustling or forced marches.
I jeszcze:
Hampered Movement: Difficult terrain, obstacles, and poor visibility can hamper movement (see Table: Hampered Terrain for details). When movement is hampered, each square moved into usually counts as two squares, effectively reducing the distance that a character can cover in a move.

Zestaw podstawowy
- leather armor, heavy wooden shield, shortspear
- 1 BP
Zestaw żołnierza
- hide armor, heavy wooden shield, longsword
- 2 BP
Zestaw łucznika
- composite longbow, leather armor, short sword
- 2 BP
Zestaw rangera
- chainshirt, composite longbow, greataxe
- 7 BP
Zestaw ciężkiej piechoty
- chainmail, heavy steel shield, longsword
- 9 BP
Zestaw gwardzisty
- chainmail, halberd
- 8 BP
Zestaw zwiadowcy
- leather armor, composite shortbow, light horse, shortspear
- 5 BP
Zestaw lekkiej jazdy
- studded leather, composite shortbow, light horse (combat trained), buckler, lance
- 9 BP
Zestaw ciężkiej jazdy
- banded mail, heavy steel shield, masterwork lance, warhammer, heavy horse (combat trained) with studded leather barding
- 42 BP
Zestaw prawdziwego rycerza
- full plate armor, heavy steel shield, heavy crossbow, masterwork lance, warhammer, heavy horse (combat trained) with chainshirt barding
- 122 BP

Charm person
Hej!
Dzisiejsza
notka poświęcona jest czarowi charm
person. Najpierw
opis:
This charm makes a humanoid
creature regard you as its trusted friend and ally (treat the target's attitude
as friendly). If the creature is currently being threatened or attacked by you
or your allies, however, it receives a +5 bonus on its saving throw.
The spell does not enable you to
control the charmed person as if it were an automaton, but it perceives your
words and actions in the most favorable way. You can try to give the subject
orders, but you must win an opposed Charisma check to convince it to do
anything it wouldn't ordinarily do. (Retries are not allowed.) An affected
creature never obeys suicidal or obviously harmful orders, but it might be
convinced that something very dangerous is worth doing. Any act by you or your
apparent allies that threatens the charmed person breaks the spell. You must
speak the person's language to communicate your commands, or else be good at
pantomiming.
I teraz
kilka słów wyjaśnienia. Co oznacza "being threatened"? W D&D
maczugą i wykrzykując przekleństwa. Jeśli bohaterowie nie mają dobytej broni, a
pierwszym czarem rzuconym na trolla, będzie charm
person, to nie dostaje on bonusa +5! To, że on
If you cast charm person and the target fails its
Will save, it becomes your friend and must "perceive your words and
actions in the most favorable way." But according to the NPC Attitude
Table, a friendly character is willing to "chat, advise, offer limited
help, and advocate." Fighting on your behalf is outside the realm of
friendly -- only a helpful NPC (one step above friendly on the table) can be
counted on for that kind of aid.
I jeszcze ten fragment:
Any act by you or your apparent
allies that threatens the charmed person breaks the spell.

Hej!
Poprzednia notka zainspirowała mnie do napisania kolejnego posta, w którym będę chciał przekonać was do częstszej jazdy konnej. Przy okazji zrobię też krótkie podsumowanie wad i zalet posiadania wierzchowca:
Plusy:
Kurcze, koń to często prędkość 60 ft., czyli dwukrotnie większa niż typowego człowieka! Muszę dodawać coś jeszcze?
2. Koń daje w walce większą mobilność.
Jak wyżej, tyle że w innej skali. Szczególnie jest to widoczne w przypadku puszek (full plate armored), szczególnie puszek rozmiaru small.
3. Atakowanie z konia pieszego przeciwnika rozmiarów medium i small daje +1 do ataku.
Kolejne +1 do ataku zawsze mile widziane.
4. Lance to fajna sprawa, szczególnie dla BAB < 6.
Lanca to martial weapon, więc każdy wojownik czy paladyn, nawet bez odpowiednich featów, potrafi się nią posługiwać i zadawać w szarży konnej podwójne obrażenia. Nawet przy BAB 6-10 i większym jest to fajne, bo zamiast dwóch ataków (lepszego i słabszego), mamy jeden, podwójnie dobry.
5. Konno można wykonać podwójny ruch/bieg i pełen atak z broni dystansowej/rzucić czar.
2. Konia łatwo ubić.
Niestety, znowu to prawda.

[Spell-like'i]:
Using a spell-like ability works like casting a spell in that it requires concentration and provokes attacks of opportunity. Spell-like abilities can be disrupted. If your concentration is broken, the attempt to use the ability fails, but the attempt counts as if you had used the ability. The casting time of a spell-like ability is 1 standard action, unless the ability description notes otherwise.
[Korytarze koboldów i inne ciasne miejsca]:
In some cases, you may have to squeeze into or through an area that isn't as wide as the space you take up. You can squeeze through or into a space that is at least half as wide as your normal space. Each move into or through a narrow space counts as if it were 2 squares, and while squeezed in a narrow space, you take a –4 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to AC.
When you attempt to perform a combat maneuver, make an attack roll and add your CMB in place of your normal attack bonus. Add any bonuses you currently have on attack rolls due to spells, feats, and other effects. These bonuses must be applicable to the weapon or attack used to perform the maneuver. The DC of this maneuver is your target's Combat Maneuver Defense. Combat maneuvers are attack rolls, so you must roll for concealment and take any other penalties that would normally apply to an attack roll.
If you have the Combat Reflexes feat, you can add your Dexterity modifier to the number of attacks of opportunity you can make in a round. This feat does not let you make more than one attack for a given opportunity, but if the same opponent provokes two attacks of opportunity from you, you could make two separate attacks of opportunity (since each one represents a different opportunity). Moving out of more than one square threatened by the same opponent in the same round doesn't count as more than one opportunity for that opponent. All these attacks are at your full normal attack bonus.
Starting at 2nd level, a druid may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. Thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that have been magically manipulated to impede motion, however, still affect her.
Starting at 4th level, a druid gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against the spell-like and supernatural abilities of fey. This bonus also applies to spells and effects that target plants, such as blight, entangle, spike growth, and warp wood.
Any combination of a creature's attacks during a melee full attack can be replaced by a trip, disarm, or sunder maneuver (any maneuver that says "in place of a melee attack"). When doing this, the calculation for the creature's Combat Maneuver Bonus uses the base attack bonus of the attack that was exchanged for a combat maneuver. For example, a creature with a BAB of +6/+1 who performs a trip with her second attack uses +1 as her BAB for the CMB of the trip.
[Spell-like'i]:
[Szarże przez trudne tereny są niemożliwe!]:
Difficult terrain, such as heavy undergrowth, broken ground, or steep stairs, hampers movement. Each square of difficult terrain counts as 2 squares of movement. [...] You can't run or charge across difficult terrain. [bronienie takich schodów nabiera nowego sensu, bo przy braku szarż każda próba podejścia to AoO]
[Korytarze koboldów i inne ciasne miejsca]:
In some cases, you may have to squeeze into or through an area that isn't as wide as the space you take up. You can squeeze through or into a space that is at least half as wide as your normal space. Podróże orzełka
Hej!
